Rosni Bay

Founded by: Orfeo Rosni (1912)
Population (2015 census): 793

Rosni Bay was established as a luxurious tourist destination in 1912 by Italian tycoon Orfeo Rosni, but quickly fell into despair following the stock market crash of 1930.

A loyal follower of Mussolini, Rosni spared no expense during WWII converting his abandoned hotels into top-secret weapons manufacturing plants for the Axis. When news of Rosni's actions became public, the Meridonan government demolished the manufacturing plants and exiled Rosni from the island. Today, the town is home to a small population and includes only a bar, grocery store, and gas station.
