Welcome to the Meridona Tribune

We are the island of Meridona's official visitor's guide. Founded by Caesar de Souza in 1802, the Tribune served as Meridona's national newspaper for nearly 200 years, providing local, national, and global coverage of current events for the island's population. Following the arrival of public internet to the island in 2001, as well as a growing number of more localized newspapers, the Tribune shifted it's goal to providing organized, non-biased information about Meridona for visitors and locals alike. Here you will find everything you need to know about our beautiful island home. Feel free to dive into our rich and colorful history, from an enigmatic pirate's utopia to today's modern, towering cities. Get a taste of our culture, including our burgeoning music scene, championship fĂștbol teams, and world-famous cuisine. And educate yourself on how Meridona operates, from our transportation infrastructure to our federal and local governments.

We here at the Tribune hope you enjoy your virtual visit to our little island. Of course, the true beauty of Meridona has to be seen to be fully appreciated. We encourage you see your local agent about travel options to Meridona through Shearwater Airlines, our national airline since 1992.
