Helverta

Founded by: Rahul Badal (1893)
Population (2015 census): 3,813

The town of Helverta was formed in 1893 as a "moral community." At the time of the town's founding, Marshdale served as a resort community for Meridona's elite. Rahul Badal and others in his community grew tired of the deviancy of the visitors, and began calling for a secession from Marshdale, citing "moral differences" and a ban on "all forms of deviancy." The governing committee approved of the secession in 1893, and the town of Helverta was established. Today, most bans have been lifted, with the exception of prostitution. Despite this, Helverta is still known as one of the most conservative towns in Meridona.
